unless my boss told me to do some extra load on top and if i have means of helping it why not. but when your colleague is acting as if superior and pressing on you, that's a different story.
yes indeed! that would be quite frustrating if your colleague acts all snooty & superior. i don't think i'd want to continue giving him/her some of my work load if his/her "attitude" worsens.
i don't think i'd like someone giving me some of their job unless my superiors tell me so. so just ask your boss if so and so can help you out. that would be more appropriate, hearing it straight from your boss

same sentiments here, unless that colleague was informed beforehand by your boss, that you'll be giving him/her some of your load. or if he/she has a lighter work load, i don't think they'd mind helping you out a bit.

how would you ask someone to do something that is not in their job requirement? i mean, you both have the same job requirements but yours is much heavier compared to the other one..how would you delegate some of your work then? i don't think asking nicely would count..unless you're the boss..
