Well here in Singapore, I think it would be more on services industry. the newly created resorts, malls & the annual F1 race contributes to that in-demand factor. plus, there's a high-turnover for the said industry..

but i'd say, engineering jobs, web development, UI designer would be one of the hottest jobs of today, what with the proliferation of social media & related sites. smile

I've heard that engineers, escpecially for search engine & social media sites are like the hottest jobs out there. Facebook is massively pirating some Google engineers which seems amusing. They're annual salaries apparently starts at 120,000 USD.

I should have been an engineer instead..crash.gif

I wonder what other jobs are in demand out there..aside from these industries..
