The candidate should also have good experience in data modelling and knowledge of data warehousing concepts.

Primary Responsibilities:
Passion for problem-solving, technology and finance
Excels within a team environment, yet also work independently and direct own time
Be flexible and pragmatic in approach and solutions
Write high-quality code and unit tests as per functional and technical specifications

Skills/Requirements:
Database experience (SQL, DDL/DML, stored procedures, data modeling).

Sybase experience preferred.
Developing and supporting large data warehouses
Data modelling in invetment banking or assetmanagement firm
UNIX/XML experience (ksh, bash, shell scripts).
